- Professional Career
Kazumasa Ozawa, professor of the National Graduate Institute of Policy Studies (GRIPS), specializes in construction and infrastructure systems management. He received his B.E., M.E., and D. E. degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Tokyo. He was appointed assistant professor, associate professor and professor at the University of Tokyo from 1987 to 2021, and project professor in program of Construction System Management for Innovation at School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo since 2021. From 1997 to 2000, Dr. Ozawa served as senior researcher at Public Works Research Institute in the Ministry of Construction and served as director of International Institute for Next Urban Planning Design and Management at the University of Tokyo from 2021 to 2024.
