  • Professional Career

Daisuke Miyamoto was born in 1977 in Osaka, Japan. He has been a professor at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies, Japan, since 2024. He received a Bachelor of Commerce from Kwansei Gakuin University, Japan, in 2000, a Master of Engineering from the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Japan, in 2002, and a Ph.D. in Engineering from NAIST in 2009. He worked as a network engineer at Accelia Inc., Japan, from 2002 to 2005, a researcher at NAIST from 2008 to 2009, an expert researcher at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology from 2009 to 2011, an assistant professor at the University of Tokyo from 2011 to 2017, a project associate professor at NAIST from 2017 to 2018, and an associate professor at the University of Tokyo from 2018 to 2024.
