KONNO, Masahiro

Current Research Interests	His fields of interest are Life-long Learning Policy and Cultural Policy. He is currently conducting research on Educational Reform through the concept of Life-long Learning. He thinks that on-going education reform in Japan should be revised both with respect to ideas and to measures.

education and career

Graduating from the Faculty of Literature, University of Tokyo in 1976, he worked for the Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture. He joined GSPS, Saitama University as an associate professor in 1992, and then served as a senior supervisor of social education in the Ministry of Education. In 1998 he joined GRIPS as a professor.
