GRIPS conducted training programs in response to a request from the King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI) in Thailand on November 24th, 2010. GRIPS welcomed 40 trainees consisted of Prof. Somchai Richupan, Prof. Noranit Setabutra and other executive officers from local governments, private corporations, research institutes, etc. of Thailand.? For the training program, Professor Hiroshi Ikawa of GRIPS gave a lecture on “Local Financial System and Issues of Local Finance in Japan”.
