Under the auspices of the National Personnel Authority, GRIPS conducted a workshop on National Public Service on February 8, 2010 for Japanese Officials.

The 34 Japanese officials, accompanied by NPA staff visited GRIPS and attended a presentation entitled “The National Public Service Ethics System in Japan” with 31 GRIPS YLP students. The presentation was followed by a discussion session divided into four groups. The groups were moderated by Mr. Toru Akuzawa, Principal Counselor of the National Public Service Ethics Board, Mr. Ryuichi Shoji, Deputy Director-General of the National Institute of Public Administration and Professor Horie and Assoc. Professor Takenaka of GRIPS. After the workshop, they had a social gathering in the GRIPS Lounge.
