Dr. Borwornsak, Secretary General of the King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI) visited GRIPS on December 17th, 2007 along with his delegation consisting of 29 members from the public and private sectors of Thailand.

After a briefing from Prof. Masahiro Horie, the delegation attended the special lecture on Japanese politics and diplomacy given by Dr. Takashi Shiraishi, Vice President of GRIPS.

KPI is a prestigious research institute under the auspices of the Thai National Assembly. KPI also provides training for public officials and politicians in the field of public policy and public administration. Dr. Woothisarn Tanchai is currently the Deputy Secretary General of KPI and is a GRIPS Alumni.
