On October 12, 2018 President Akihiko Tanaka visited Harvard University in Boston and gave a lecture at the symposium entitled, Origins of Prosperity and Stability: State Building in 20^thCentury Asia. This symposium was co-organized by the U.S.-Japan Relations Program of Harvard University’sWeatherhead Center for International Affairs and the Japan Institute of International Affairs.
