President Tanaka gives a lecture in Brazil, Peru and Columbia
Between the 4th and 12th of February, President Akihiko Tanaka visited Brazil, Peru and Columbia. He gave several lectures on the relations between Japan and these countries, based on Japanese politics, economy, and the current world order.
“We don’t get much information about East Asia, so the lecture gave the students and professors here a lot to think about,” commented one of the participants.

During his stay, President Tanaka also attended a reunion with six alumni in Peru, and a reunion with three alumni in Columbia. It was an opportunity for the alumni to discuss their current careers and their memories of GRIPS.
