GRIPS Faculty Named AAAS fellow
GRIPS faculty member Hiroshi Nagano has been elected as a 2015 fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

Hiroshi Nagano, visiting professor of Science and Technology Policy at GRIPS, was elected for distinguished leadership in the planning, measurement, and evaluation of R&D investments in Japan and for distinguished leadership in fostering international dialogue in science and technology. Currently, he is serving as the Chair of the Global Science Forum of the OECD.

He is among 347 new fellows honored this year by AAAS, the world’s largest scientific society and the publisher of the journal Science. Fellows are chosen for their efforts to advance science applications that are deemed scientifically or socially distinguished; its tradition began in 1874.
