GRIPS Culture Day was held in Sokairo Hall
On Sunday September 8th, the 3rd Annual GRIPS Culture Day was hosted by the GRIPS Student Council. The Culture Day started with the workshops in the morning and continued to the performance time in the afternoon.
In the workshops, we had Calligraphy; Movie show, Hena painting, Ninja experience, Traditional Games from Japanese students and International and Japanese costume photo studio where took pictures wearing kimonos and other countries national costumes. We also had exhibition booth for international specialty product and souvenir, many countries took part in this event.
In the afternoon, we had 13 performances from 8 representing countries. There were dances as well as songs from Bangladesh, Africa, Philippines, Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, China, and Ethiopia. It was finished off with an amazing fashion show with the students from 17 countries in their traditional costumes.
Our deep gratitude goes to the helpers from outside the school including: HANABISHIREN, Minato-ku(Ward) Sports Association.
