GRIPS Forum: “The Trump Administration and American Foreign Policy”

RSVP at the Registration Form by January 16, 2025 Abstract: The second Trump Administration (2025-2029) is expected to be an extension of the first Trump Administration (2017-2021), but with some important differences. It can be expected that many of the policies of the Biden Administration (2021-2025) will be reversed, but there may be a more fundamental shift away from the “traditional” foreign policies of previous Democratic, as well as Republican, administrations. What are these changes likely to be? Mr. Fukushima, a Washington insider since 1985 with ties to both Democratic and Republican administrations, will offer his analysis and insights with particular reference to America’s Asia policy.

Speaker:
Mr. Glen S. Fukushima, Vice Chair, Securities Investor Protection Corporation Former Deputy Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Japan and China Glen_Fukushima.jpg
