Abstract:

"Social Common Capital" is gaining attention as an economic theory supporting a new form of capitalism. It is said to underpin the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). While various efforts address capitalism's disparities, the insights from Social Common Capital, rooted in mathematical economics, are significant. This lecture explores the origins of Social Common Capital by Hirofumi Uzawa and its future implications. The speaker will also discuss healthcare, a crucial element of Social Common Capital, examining its value and impact on society.
