Over recent years, serious flooding and landslides have occurred on an annual basis. Instead of explaining the specifics of these natural disasters, here we will? set forth and discuss hard and soft countermeasures and issues requiring research that have become apparent in light of such disasters in order to prevent them or reduce the damage they cause.
