abstract:
In Japan, recent years have seen the successive establishment of new agricultural departments in universities and rising interest in agriculture and related industries. This trend is a favorable circumstance for agriculture, and the development of technology and sharing of information to support it are required for it to take root. In developing countries, it is particularly effective to introduce serviceable technology, and approaches resting on cooperation are being taken in various fields. The symposium aims to discuss the involvement of producers, actual demand parties, and consumers based on cases of crop protection aimed at sound cultivation of crops while reducing impact on the environment.
