The 68th GRIPS Forum “Fukushima Nuclear Accident:Lessons to Learn”
At the 68th GRIPS Forum on July 9, 2012, Dr. Kiyoshi Kurokawa, Chairman of Congressional Investigation Committee on Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant Accident; Academic Fellow of GRIPS, gave a lecture on “Fukushima Nuclear Accident: Lessons to Learn”. 300 people from domestic and international students, journalists, and embassies attended the lecture, and listened about the final official report that is issued by the Fukushima Nuclear Accident Independent Investigation Commission. In the Q&A session following his lecture, many questions were raised from the floor such as concerning Reactivation of Oi Nuclear Power Plant and challenges currently faced by the Nuclear Energy Policy in Japan.
