At the 62nd GRIPS Forum on April 23, 2012, Associate professor. Sebastien Lechevalier (EHESS) and Mr. Atsushi Nakajima (Chairman of RIETI) gave a lecture titled “Future of the Euro Crisis” First, Mr. Nakajima talked about the effects of the Euro crisis on the world economy, and then Assoc. Prof. Lechevalier gave a presentation about understanding the Euro crisis and the future of EU. Afterward, they discussed about the influence of the Euro Crisis on economic and international relations. Because this forum was held after the first round of the French presidential election on 22 April, we had a large audience who had interest in this topic.
