At the 52nd GRIPS Forum on July 11, 2011, Dr. Jun Iio (Professor of GRIPS, Chairman of Study Group of the Reconstruction Design Council in Response to the Great East Japan Earthquake) gave a lecture entitled “Direction of Earthquake Reconstruction.” In this forum, he presented a report to the Prime Minister of the Reconstruction Design Council in response to the Great East Japan Earthquake. The forum gathered much interest, and the large audience included domestic and international students, journalists, and the general public as well as people from embassies. Many questions were raised during the Q & A session.
