The 47th GRIPS Forum“What’s in a name? From grassroots to the corridor of power”
At the 47th GRIPS Forum on May 16, 2011, Dr. Mieko Nishimizu, former Vice President of the World Bank Group and Partner of?ThinkTank?SophiaBank, gave a lecture entitled .“What’s in a name? From grassroots to the corridor of power.” Based on her experiences, she talked about the core and the background of the reform process and the role of leaders. Audience members said, “Her story was really emotional,” and “I realized that my knowledge about poverty was superficial.” Dr. Nishimizu answered questions from the audience clearly.
