At the 30th GRIPS Forum held on 19th April, 2010, GRIPS invited Mr. Morinosuke Kawaguchi, Associate Director at Arthur D. Little (Japan) Inc., to deliver a lecture entitled “Japanese Culture and Manufacturing”.
He has a unique view on Japanese manufacturing, and according to him, we can contribute to manufacturing with a Japanese advantage, which incorporates Japanese sense of values and characteristics. Since the personality is reflected on the functionality or specifications of products, he presented many examples about how Japanese goods are affected by changes in Japanese values.
Mr. Kawaguchi’s innovative ideas and wonderful delivery was enjoyed by the audience.
