Special Lecture “The Philippines-Japan Strategic Partnership and the Rules-Based Order”
?
Abstract:
As champions of the post-1945 rules-based order, the Philippines and Japan are bound by their shared commitment to promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond. But as power competition, geopolitical rivalries, and transnational challenges pose risks to multilateral institutions and the rule of law, how can the Philippines and Japan meaningfully contribute to the preservation of the rules-based order?
