The 4th FPCI-GRIPS Public Forum “Asia’s Energy Security: Implications of the Russia-Ukraine War and the Future Outlook”
?GRIPS is collaborating with FPCI (Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia) in convening the FPCI-GRIPS Public Forum, a monthly webinar series where experts and policy makers can discuss the most pressing issues of international affairs and foreign policy with researchers and students across Southeast Asia and Japan.
?
?At the 4th forum, we will focus on “Energy Security”.
?
?The ongoing war in Ukraine has yielded to a global energy crisis. Certainly, Russia’s invasion has caused disruption in the markets and geopolitics of energy. Energy price-hike and insecurity have forced many countries to reassess their energy security matters.
?Definitely, the war has pushed global oil prices. Yet, the war is also a reminder for all countries to have a diversification of energy sources and accelerate the clean energy transition.
?
Experts from Japan and ASEAN will be invited to discuss current energy issues and future prospects.
Please join us and watch the forum!
